My Thoughts: There is nothing more delightful than an utterly entertaining book. In this new series, Eliza Knight introduces us to the young, independent, formidable Jaime Andrewson and the war hero/rogue Lorne Gordon, Duke of Sutherland. While one attempts to regain what they lost, the other attempts to retain what they gained. As their two worlds collide, the history between them unravels and the games begin. Their encounters start as drawn battle lines but quickly become something more for both of them. Deceit, intrigue, revenge, passion and more follow Jaime and Lorne as they strive to uncover who their real enemy is. Knight’s characters are witty and their escapades will keep the reader thoroughly engaged. Great first book in the series!!
